Sudhir Jain is a retired oil industry consultant who took to keyboard with the dawn of the new millennium. He was born in India and has lived and worked for extended periods in England, Libya, the United States and Canada. He has been passionate about literature and classical music since early teens. In his previous profession, he published more than forty technical papers and won national and international awards. Several hundred of his Letters to the Editor have appeared in the North American newspapers and magazines and were published in the collection “Couldn’t Shut Up” in 2011. A collection “Isolde’s Dream and Other Stories” was published by Bayeux Arts in 2007 and another collection of stories and essays “Pages from an Immigrant’s Diary” in November 2012 by Outskirts Press. His essays have appeared in the Globe and Mail, Calgary Herald and globeandmail.com. His first novel Princess of Aminabad: An Ordinary Life was published by Bayeux Arts in 2014.
